Updating our 1978 2-story is a never ending job. Our latest project was to replace the very well used carpet in the family room with hand-scraped hickory flooring. Steve spent more days of his Christmas vacation than he had planned tackling this job, but the results are fantastic! So much easier to keep clean and much more fun for the kids - they've been using it for sock skating, sliding, dancing....you get the idea! Kim also tackled all the wallpaper covering every surface in the basement. With help from the kids it all came down, but has yet to be painted. Stay tuned......
